info bullet Working Conditions:
Medical Assistants usually work in well lit, air-conditioned medical offices or various types of ambulatory clinics. Medical assistants have to lift, stand, reach, stoop and walk. They often work under pressure, answering phones while always having to be ready when the doctor or a patient needs assistance. They also must be prepared to handle emergency situations.

info bullet The Need Is High:
Doctor's offices are screaming for good reliable talent. But don't think all job openings are posted in the newspaper's wanted ads! Although popular, doctors often seek word of mouth recommendations, contact local vocational schools to request one of their recent (best!) MA graduates, or use an online job board to recruit staff.
