Editorial standards
Editorial Policy
The standards every guide on this site is held to.
Last updated June 1, 2026
This page describes how we approach content. It's a living document and will be refined as the site grows.
Our commitment
Medical Assistant NET publishes educational content about the medical assistant profession. We aim to be accurate, clear, and genuinely useful to people researching this career.
Sourcing
We base factual claims on primary and authoritative sources, such as government data, certifying organizations, and accredited institutions. Where a claim depends on a source, we cite it. When information varies by state, program, or employer, we say so rather than implying a single universal answer.
What we don't publish
We do not invent salary figures, fabricate certification details, or publish program "rankings" without a transparent methodology. If we can't support a claim, we don't make it.
Review and updates
Guides are reviewed for accuracy and clarity before publication. We revisit content periodically and label each guide with a "last updated" date so you know how current it is.
Independence
Editorial decisions are made independently of advertising. Advertising or sponsored placements, where present, are clearly disclosed. See our advertising disclosure for details.
Corrections
If you spot an error, please tell us via our contact page. We review correction requests and update content when warranted.
Not professional advice
Our content is for general educational purposes and is not medical, legal, or career advice. Always confirm requirements with official sources for your situation.
